Matrouh governorate security director, Major General Hesham Lotfy announced Tuesday that Salloum Border Crossing received over the past 24 hours 387 Egyptian returnees from Libya. Lotfy added that 306 people entered the country legally and 81 people entered illegally. The border crossing received 135 thousand and 715 Egyptian returnees from Libya following the beheading of 21 Egyptians by Islamic State jihadist groups militants in February 2015, he added. Lotfy pointed out that 521 people entered Libya through Salloum Border Crossing including 199 Egyptians and 322 Libyans.
