The Syrian army foiled an attempt by the Takfiri terrorists to seize back their lost military positions outside the city of Douma in Damascus countryside. The region was taken back after fierce clashes between the Syrian forces and their allies and the terrorist groups that claimed the lives of tens of militants. In a relevant development in Damascus province on Wednesday, two notorious commanders of Ahrar al-Sham were killed in heavy fighting with the Syrian military troops in Western Ghouta. The commanders of Ahrar al-Sham were killed near the city of Darayya in Southeastern Damascus. Also on Tuesday, the Syrian Army troops pushed Ajnad al-Sham terrorists back from a strategic road in Western Ghouta, inflicting major losses on the terrorists. "Ajnad Al-Sham launched a new offensive inside the strategic town of Darayya to reopen the road between Darayya and Mo'adhamiyeh," the sources said, adding, "At first, Ajnad al-Sham captured 9 points from the Syrian soldiers between Darayya and Mo'adhamiyeh, but the Syrian Armed Forces launched a counter-attack took back the lost 9 points."
