Jordanian minister of mineral resources, Ibrahim Saif arrived Monday to Egypt, where he will remain for two days, on head of a ministerial delegation, to meet his Egyptian counterpart, Tarek El Mola. Saif discussed with El Mola, the aspects of cooperation between both countries in the fields of energy and natural gas, Al Bawaba News reported. The Jordanian minister also discussed the Egyptian government's development plans and strategies relating to the new discoveries of natural gas fields at the Mediterranean Sea, in particular, Zohr natural gas field, which its discovery was announced at the end of August. He tackled ways to benefit from the Egyptian experience in supplying industries with natural gas and establishing natural gas distribution networks in cities, during the meeting. Additionally, Saif discussed the contractual obligations of previously signed agreements between the two countries.
