Jordanian minister of mineral resources, Ibrahim Saif will visit Monday Egypt, on head of a ministerial delegation, to meet his Egyptian counterpart, Tarek El Mola, Al Bawaba News reported. Saif's visit to Egypt will last for two days, during which he will discuss with El Mola, aspects of cooperation between both countries in the fields of energy and natural gas. The Jordanian ministry of mineral resources said in a statement that Saif will also discuss the Egyptian government's development plans and strategies relating to the new discoveries of natural gas fields at the Mediterranean Sea, in particular, Zohr natural gas field, which its discovery was announced at the end of August. The statement pointed out that the Jordanian minister will tackle ways to benefit from the Egyptian experience in supplying industries with natural gas and establishing natural gas distribution networks in cities. Additionally, the Jordanian minister will also discuss the contractual obligations of previously signed agreements between the two countries, the statement added.
