Minister of antiquities, Khaled El Anani headed Sunday to Saudi Arabia in order to sign a memorandum of understanding in field of antiquities, Al Bawaba News reported. The memorandum of understanding aims to promote cooperation between the two countries in the fields of antiquities, archeology, museums and architectural heritage, which confirms Egypt's keenness to cooperate with all countries involved in the field of archaeology, in order to benefit from their experiences in the field. The minister had postponed the signing of the memorandum of understanding between Egypt and Saudi Arabia during the past few days, after the death of one of Saudi Arabia's royal family.
