Saudi Council of Ministers decided Monday in a meeting to cooperate with Egypt in several areas, including the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, education, agriculture and culture, Al Masry Al Youm reported. Minister of Social Affairs and Acting Minister of Culture and Information Majed bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi said that King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy head will discuss with the Egyptian side a draft agreement on cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy in order to sign it. The council agreed to authorize the Minister of Culture and Information to sign an executive agreement on cooperation in the field of radio and television as well as cultural cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt as part of the Saudi-Egyptian Joint Committee. It also decided to authorize the Minister of Education to sign an agreement on educational cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Egypt, as well as authorizing the Minister of Agriculture to discuss and sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in agricultural sector between the two countries.
