Minister of commerce, Tarek Kabeel revealed Friday that volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Portugal reached 194 million euros in 2015, which is an increase compared to 166 million euros in 2014. This came during Kabeel's meeting with Portuguese ambassador in Cairo, to discuss ways to increase bilateral trade volume and joint investment projects between Egypt and Portugal in the coming period, Al Bawaba News reported. Kabeel explained that Egypt's major export items to the Portuguese market, include pharmaceutical products, furniture, electronic appliances, glass, iron, steel and textiles, while the main Egyptian imports from Portugal include machinery, equipment, paper and organic chemical products.
