Egyptian Navy rescued 31 illegal immigrants from different nationalities from the Mediterranean, nearby Alexandria on Monday, al-Bawaba News reported. The immigrants were fleeing on a fishing boat that carried 600 persons on board, heading to Greece, including 26 Egyptians, 2 Sudanese, 2 Eritreans, 1 Ethiopian, and the bodies of 9 dead persons, including 1 Egyptian woman. Egyptian authorities started investigating the incident, and transmitted the bodies to Alexandria morgues.
