Coastguard forces prevented 238 persons from different nationalities from illegally fleeing outside the country, through Damietta shores, Al-Masry Al-Youm reported Saturday. Damietta police station has received reports about the fleeing of 238 persons, 94 Egyptians, 2 Somalis, 2 Iraqis, 3 from Congo, 3 Eritreans, 1 from Chad, 1 from South Sudan, 50 Sudanese, and 67 from Djibouti, besides the crew of the boat. The fleeing persons were arrested before boarding the boat heading to Italy through the Mediterranean, security source said.
