Explosion in Al-Arish wounds 6 police personnel

Six police personnel were wounded Friday in a blast caused by an improvised explosive device (IED) that targeted an armored vehicle in North Sinai's Al-Arish city, Al Bawaba News reported.
The wounded elements were transferred immediately to Al-Arish Military Hospital for treatment.
Since September 2013, Egyptian army and police have been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
