Court orders retrial of 35 Azhar University students over May 2013 incidents

The Cairo Cassation Court approved the appeal presented by 35 defendants over their five years imprison sentence they received in the case publicly known as Al-Azhar University incidents, Al-Bawaba News reported Saturday.
The defendants were accused of participating in fierce riots and sabotage in addition to seizure of university staff, setting deliberated arson and destabilizing the national security in the incidents occurred in May 2013.
