Minister of culture, Helmy El Namnam revealed in a statement to reporters that Saudi Arabia wishes to benefit from Egypt's cultural experience, Al Bawaba News reported Saturday. This came on the sidelines of a meeting between El Namnam and his Saudi counterpart. The field of cultural cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia is extremely important, Namnam pointed out, explaineing that the Saudi side is interested in learning from the Egyptian experience in the cultural field, particularly in translation and children's theater. He stressed that the coming period will witness a number of meetings with the Saudi side to discuss preparations for cooperation between both sides to establish joint cultural projects. Furthermore, he added that the Saudi minister has promised a large and distinctive Egyptian participation in book fairs held in Saudi Arabia.
