Antiquities Min. inspects alleged "David Stars" on temple in southern Egypt

Minister of antiquities, Khaled al-Anany inspected Saturday the Elephantine Island in the Nile River, in southern Egypt, which attracted great attention recently, ONA news agency reported.
The island received much attention in the past few days after the German archaeological expedition claimed it had found the Star of David at the front of the island's temples.
Minister al-Anany ordered to form an Egyptian-German scientific committee, headed by archaeologist Ahmed Saleh, to investigate the alleged stars.
Results of the committee's investigation will be publicly exposed.
