The first victim of the Brussels attacks, which killed more than 30 people, has been named as a mother of twin four-year-old girls. Peruvian Adelma Tapia Ruiz, 37, was killed in the bombings at Zaventem Airport. A spokeswoman for Peru's foreign ministry named her as the first confirmed victim of the attacks. Her brother told Peruvian radio station RPP that his sister was at the airport with her Belgian husband, Christophe Delcambe, and their twins Maureen and Alondra. He said the other members of the family were unhurt because they had left the area moments before the bombs detonated. He said his sister was due to catch a flight to New York, where she was meeting their sisters, and she had planned to return to Peru this year.
