Head of Italian parliamentary delegation participating in the Inter-Parliamentary Union's (IPU) 134th assembly has met Sunday with Egypt's Parliament Speaker Ali abdel Aal and his accompanying delegation on the sidelines of the assembly, Al-Bawaba News reported. Egypt's participation in IPU comes after its membership was frozen for almost two years for not having having a parliament, MP Tarek El-Kholy said. An Egyptian parliamentary delegation has flown to Lusaka, Zambia for the IPU 134th Assembly, where it held several meetings with the different participating delegations, to boost it relation with the international, Arab and Islamic parliaments, as well as European parliaments. Participating MPs from Egypt include parliament speaker Ali Abdel Al, secretary-general Ahmed Saadeddin, the head of the parliamentary bloc, Alaa Abed, and appointed MP Rania El-Wani.
