Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry travels Tuesday morning to Russia's capital, Moscow on a one-day visit over boosting bilateral ties between Egypt and Russia, Al-Bawaba News reported. Shoukry will meet with the Chairman of the State Duma Sergey Naryshkin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Ministers of Industry and Trade, the head of the Russian side of the Joint Russian-Egyptian Commission and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Ahmed Abu Zaid said. The meetings will tackle several issues including the return of Russian tourism to Egypt, the Dabaa Nuclear Project, a number of regional issues, particularly the situation in Syria, Libya, Yemen and Palestine, as well as the efforts to combat terrorism on the regional and international levels. It's scheduled for the FM to hold television interviews with Russia Today and Russia 24 channels, as well as to meet with a number of Russian newspapers representatives. The Foreign Minister's visit to Moscow comes in the light of the positive development witnessed by the nation's remarkable relations, which the economic and trade relations had witnessed over the past year, an outcome that nearly amounted to $2.8 billion.
