Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) will issue Monday on behalf of Ministry of Finance, treasury bills with a total value of EGP4.7 billion, Youm7 News reported. The value of the first IPO treasury bills for 5 years is EGP 3 billion, while the second IPO is worth EGP1.750 billion for 10 years. The move comes to reduce deficits in the national budget. It is expected the deficit in the state budget for the current fiscal year will reach EGP 240 billion, that is usually reduced through Arab and international aids plus treasury bonds.
