Togolese President, Faure Gnassingbe welcomed Friday assistant of President for national and strategic projects, Ibrahim Mahlab and his accompanying delegation, at presidential headquarters in Togolese capital, Lome, Al Bawaba News reported. Prime Minister of Togo, Komi Selom Klassou, the Togolese Parliament Speaker and the Transportation Minister attended the meeting with Mahlab, in addition to representatives from the Arab Contractors company and Egypt's ambassador to Togo. Mahlab has delivered an official letter from President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi to Gnassingbe. The letter highlighted Egypt's desire to boost cooperation with Togo, in light of the growing relations between Egypt and the African countries. Gnassingbe praised the relation with Egypt, describing it as excellent and friendly. Meanwhile, Togolese Transportation Minister has taken a tour with Mahlab and his accompanying delegation at Lome's airport and seaport. The minister briefed Mahlab and his accompanying delegation about Togolese government's planned projects there and explained the role that Egyptian companies can play in these projects. CEO of Arab Contractors Mohseen Salah revealed in a statement that his company is currently studying a number of road projects in Togo, pointing out that this comes within the company's new vision and aspirations to extend Egyptian construction industry to the African continent and open new horizons for it.
