Deputy Mohamed Anwar Sadat, President of the Reform and Development Party, called for questioning both Prime Minister and the head of the Suez Canal Authority Mohab Mamish, On published reports for cargo ships that turned to alternative routes due to the fall in oil prices, Al- Bawaba News reported Monday. Deputy Sadat said that this is a negative indicator of the channel would cut revenue. Sadat stressed that the government and the management of the channel have to show the Egyptian people the implications of those disturbing shifts in the international shipping routes and what the alternative plans to address them are.
