Head of Egypt's Suez Canal Authority, LT Gen. Mohab Mamish denied Monday that the Islamic State (IS) has received weapons transported through the Suez Canal, Al-Bawaba news reported. On the sidelines of President al-Sisi's visit to Singapore, Mamish listed the security measures of the authority towards ships that cross the canal, saying that they should be subjected authorities rules. "The rules include banning uranium cargoes, drugs, overloaded ships and other prohibitions," Mamish said in a press statement in Singapore.
