House of Representatives Office members, headed by parliament speaker, Ali Abdel Aal will hold Sunday a meeting, prior to morning parliamentary session, to discuss parliamentarian, Tawfiq Okasha's hosting of Israeli ambassador at his home. The office will discuss a proposal of preparing a statement to submit to parliament without discussing it, emphasizing the respect of parliament to international conventions and treaties, Al Bawaba News reported. The statement will stress that Okasha's actions only represent himself and not the parliament, which expresses the voice of the Egyptian people who refuse normalization of ties with Israel. Some parliamentarians contacted a number of officials within the ministry of foreign affairs on the best way to deal with the incident, after the ministry sent a full report on the reactions of Israeli officials and media on the incident to parliament.
