Egyptian army killed 10 militants in North Sinai's Rafah and Sheikh Zuweid cities, Al-Bawaba News reported Friday.
The army has launched several airstrikes using F-16 warplanes targeting terrorist outposts in the two cities, killing 10 militants and wounding others.
Since September 2013, the Egyptian army has been carrying out an ongoing military campaign against terrorist groups in Sinai after they claimed responsibility for several deadly attacks targeting Egyptian military and police personnel.
