Press Syndicate's freedoms committee press conference which is organized by the cooperation of the defense of liberties front launched shortly with the participation of representatives of political parties, human rights organizations and the National Council for Human Rights, Al-Bawaba News reported. The conference will tackle various topics including ways to deal with attacks on the freedom of opinion and expression, the imprisonment verdict of Ahmed Naji, and the escalation of defamation of religion issues. Constitutional expert, Nour Farahat, Commission for Citizenship National Council for Human Rights member Nevin Massad, Egyptian Commission for Rights and Freedoms Mena Thabet, institution of freedom of thought and expression lawyer Mahmoud Othman and Akhbar Al-Adab editor-in-chief Tarek Taher are expected to give a speech.
