Writers' Union of Egypt concluded a deal with the Ministry of Defense's Medical Services Authority to provide medical care for its members at low cost, Al-Bawaba News reported Sunday. Alaa Abdel Hadi, the union's director, had sent several messages to the Minister of Defense Sedki Sobhi urging him to provide medical care for the union's members for free. "Medical booklets and identification cards were issued for the union's members," Abdel Hadi said, noting that low-cost medical care is available in more than 100 military medical centers across the country.
