Egypt's President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi met Saturday with President of the African Development Bank (AFDB) Akinwumi Adesina on the sideline of the Africa Forum 2016 currently held in the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh, Al-Bawaba News reported. Al-Sisi praised the cooperation between Egypt and AFDB, expressing his aspirations to expand this cooperation to include agriculture and food security sectors. The president pointed out that Egypt is ready to offer its expertise to African countries to contribute to the economic and social development of the African continent. From his part, Adesina praised Egypt's efforts in organizing this event, stressing that this forum reflects the pioneering role of Egypt in Africa and its eagerness to push the development process in the continent. Adesina praised the economic reform measures undertaken by the Egyptian government, stressing the bank's desire to support the Egyptian state budget and several economic sectors.
