Egypt, Iraq to boost joint economic ties

Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabil met with his Iraqi counterpart Mohamed Shayaa to discuss the measures to activate the Egyptian Iraqi Business Council, Al-Bawaba News reported Friday.
Both officials stressed their countries' keenness on boosting joint economic bilateral ties. Earlier this week Iraqi Minister of Industry held a meeting with Qabil to discuss the investments opportunities.
"A delegation representing the ministry in addition to several Egyptian businessmen are upon preparing for a visit to Iraq," Qabil revealed, signaling to ministry's will to hold two fairs for Egyptian products in Iraq during March and April.
