Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sameh Shoukry contacted with his Sudanese counterpart, Ibrahim Al Ghandour, Tuesday to discuss the bilateral relations between both countries, Al Bawaba News reported. Both ministers have also talked about the ways to enhance the ties in the different fields to meet the aspirations of their people. Spokesman for the ministry, Ahmed Abu Zeid revealed that that the two ministers stressed on the strength and durability of the Egyptian-Sudanese relations. Abu Zeid said that both ministers expressed their keenness to support their joint and close cooperation to overcome the media exaggerations of the misunderstanding in the past days. He signaled that the two ministers have urged on the need to stand against any attempts to disturb the Egyptian-Sudanese relations. Furthermore, he added that the ministers stressed on the need to continue to provide as much care for the citizens of the two countries, as well as the need to work closely in order to promote bilateral relations.
