President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met with the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister, Sabah Al Khalid Al Sabah, at presidential palace headquarters, in presence of minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry, Al-Bawaba News reported. Spokesman for presidency, Ambassador Alaa Youssef announced that Al Sabah conveyed Emir of Kuwait, Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah's greetings to Al Sisi, noting that the close ties and distinguished relations between the two countries. He also stressed on Egypt's leading status as a main pillar of security and stability in the Arab world. The Kuwaiti minister pointed to his country's keenness to push forward the bilateral cooperation in various fields and achieve quick, as well as tangible results in this regard. Al Sisi asked Al Sabah to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Emir of Kuwait, noting that Egypt's leadership and people will not forget the positions of Kuwait in supporting development efforts in Egypt and promoting joint Arab action. He stressed on the importance of working to develop bilateral relations between both countries at all levels.
