Egyptian-Saudi forces conduct joint maneuver on Saudi-Iraqi borders

The Egyptian and Saudi forces carries out joint maneuver, Ra'ad el-Shamal (Northern Thunder) at Hafr el-Baten area, eastern-north of Saudi Kingdom on Iraqi borders Tuesday, al-Bawaba News reported.
The maneuver that coincides the Saudi announcement to send ground troops to Syria, will concentrate on counter-terrorism methods.
Thousands of troops, air and navy forces will take part in the maneuver.
