Egypt's ministry of interior denied on Sunday, the media reports of a police sergeant assault against doctors at a hospital in Benha, near Cairo. The ministry said in a statement the reports were totally baseless, adding no police personnel were involved in offending doctors. A car trader was involved in a fight against doctors in the Benha University Hospital allegedly for not giving his wife the necessary treatment, the statement added. Earlier this month, two police sergeants attacked two doctors at the Al-Matarreya Educational Hospital. The ministry announced the attackers were referred to investigation.
