The Court of Cassation decided Wednesday to overturn the sentences against 150 convicts in the case publically known as "Kerdasa massacre," and ordered them a retrial, al-Bawaba news reported. Five defendants, including a woman, were sentenced to death, over murder with premeditation 11 officers of Kerdasa police station and 2 civilians, and mutilated their bodies, possessing unlicensed weapons, and crowding. The incidents of Kerdasa massacre followed the dispersal of Muslim Brotherhood's Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins in August 2013.
