Minister of Investment, Ashraf Salman attended Tuesday the Egyptian-Russian business forum on the sidelines of the 10th session of the joint technical and economic cooperation committee, Al-Bawaba News reported. During the meeting, Salman praised the Egyptian-Russian historical relations, pointing out that a number of joint projects and agreements will be signed between the two sides. The minister noted that Egypt witnessed an economic growth rate of 4.2% during 2014/2015 fiscal year, compared to 2.2% during the previous fiscal year. He added that Egypt's credit rating had been raised with a stable outlook for the first time since the beginning of 2011. The forum was attended by Minister of Supply Khaled Hanafy, Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Qabeel and Minister of Military Production, Mohamed Saeed Al Assar as well as Russian Trade Minister Denis Manturov and a number of Russian businessmen.
