President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi met Friday with South Africa's President, Jacob Zoma on the sidelines of the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Al-Bawaba News reported. Presidency spokesperson, Alaa Yousef said that Sisi confirmed during the meeting Egypt's keenness to develop its relations with South Africa in various fields. Yousef added that the two presidents discussed a number of regional and international issues, as well as discussing ways to boost cooperation between the two countries. For his part, Zoma praised the steps recently taken by Egypt to complete its democratic and constitutional development, congratulating Egypt for winning membership of the AU Peace and Security Council and the UN Security Council.
