Cairo Criminal Court will resume Tuesday the trial of Mubarak's strongman, Safwat el-Sherif and his two sons, Ehab and Ashraf, over corruption accusations, Al-Bawaba news reported. Safwat, former Secretary General of the National Democratic Party (NDP) and his two sons are facing charges of illicit earning, and using their relations to make profits amount at EGP 300 million. The court has fined el-Sherif and his sons to EGP 600 million, and asked the Interpol to arrest the fugitive son, Ashraf, and hand him to the Egyptian authorities.
