Cairo Criminal Court will issue its verdict against one defendant in the retrial of Marriott Cell case Wednesday, Youm7 news reported. Prosecution had accused the defendant of joining an illegal group aiming at obstructing the provisions of law and constitution, assaulting the personal freedoms of citizens, disturbing the public peace, targeting public properties and jeopardizing the safety of society. The Marriott Cell case included journalists of Al-Jazeera Qatari channel, where Egyptian authorities arrested its crew during broadcasting news following the uprising of June 30 and the dispersal of Rabaa and Nahda sit-ins in August 2013.
