Xinhua Blast injures 10 security men in Egypt's Sinai At least 10 security men, including an officer and nine recruits, were wounded on Saturday when a blast targeted their two armored vehicles in south of Arish city of restive North Sinai province, state-run Al-Ahram news website reported. According to security sources and eyewitnesses, the two armored vehicles were moving in a highway in Arish when they were targeted by an improvised explosive device planted at the side of the road. In November, at least seven people were killed, including four policemen, two judges and a civilian, as a car bomb targeted a hotel in Arish hosting judges monitoring the recently-concluded parliamentary elections. The court also set February 9 2016 for the final verdict to be passed. On May 9, 2015 Mubarak and his two sons were sentenced to three years in prison for seizing public funds worth $16.38 million which had been allocated for the upkeep of the presidential residences between 2002 and 2011. Sudanese Foreign Minister Ibrahim Ghandour said that he and counterparts from Egypt, Sameh Shukri, and Ethiopia Tedros Adhanom, agreed to resume talks in two weeks. He stressed keenness on concluding "satisfactory results." Ghandour said that the two-day meetings between officials from the three countries failed to reach a settlement over the GERD crisis.
