Court upholds death verdict against October Cell convicts

The court of Cassation upheld Saturday the death and life sentences against 6 convicts of October Cell, over conducting a terrorist attack against Church of the Virgin Mary, Youm7 news reported.
In September 2015, Giza Criminal Court sentenced 5 convicts to death and another one to life in prison, over killing a police officer, attempting to kill another, possessing unlicensed weapons, and attacking the Church of Virgin Mary in 6th October City.
