Foreign Min. holds talks with Syrian opposition in Cairo

Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry met with a Syrian opposition delegation within framework of the Cairo Conference for Syrian Opposition to discuss the peace process in the war-torn Syria, Al-Bawaba News reported Thursday.
Spokesperson for Egypt's foreign ministry, Ahmed Abu Zeid revealed that Shoukry discussed opportunities to form a united negotiation team in preparations for the pan-Syrian dialogue to be launched in Saudi Arabia, Dec.8-9 under the auspices of the UN.
Shoukry stressed on Egypt's keenness to reach a convenient accord which would contribute to the interest of the Syrian people, Abu Zeid added.
