Minister of Water Resources, Hossam Moghazy announced Saturday that he is currently consulting with high-level Sudanese and Ethiopian officials to hold tripartite meeting on the Renaissance Dam. Moghazy revealed that he is seeking to include the foreign ministers of all three countries in the tripartite meeting, which will be held next week in Sudan's Khartoum, Al-Bawaba News reported. The minister expressed his hope to reach an agreement with the governments of Ethiopia and Sudan in that regard. The tripartite meeting will be held on November 29th and 30th. Representatives from the Dutch Deltares and French BRL consultancy firms will be present at the meeting, which will aim to unite views on the mechanisms of implementing the required studies on the Ethiopian dam.
