Egypt's Irrigation Minister Hossam Moghazi left Wednesday to Khartoum to participate in the 7th talk round on technical disputes regarding Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, al-Bawaba News reported. Moghazi along with his Sudanese and Ethiopian counterparts will resume discussing the environmental, social and economic impacts of the construction of the dam on the downstream countries. The three-day talks will tackle the debated issues regarding the technical studies about the dam made by two international consultancy offices - the French BRL Group and the Dutch Deltares, which held its recent meeting in Cairo on July 3.
