Minister of Commerce, Tarek Kabeel issued Saturday a decision to form Supreme Council of sectorial partnerships, under his chairmanship, Al-Bawaba News reported. Kabeel has included all 12 chairmen of the executive boards of sectorial partnerships, which includes chemical, engineering, food, printing, leather, construction materials, furniture, garments, public buildings, infrastructure, hotel facilities and tourism industries. He announced that the council is the legal representative of the sectorial partnerships, as it aims to develop public policies for partnerships, through the adoption of plans, programs and activities of needed for the partnerships to achieve its goals. Moreover, he explained that the council is entitled to establish work programs and timetable for implementation, and approve the annual draft budget and final accounts and financial lists of the partnerships. The minister added that it also focuses on the development of proposals and mechanisms for partnerships' asset management, as well as maximize their profits.
