Minister of Commerce and Industry, Tarek Kabeel said Saturday that trade exchange between Egypt and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) has reached $ 2.6 billion in 2014, Al Bawaba News reported. This came during a meeting with the COMESA Secretary-General, Sindiso Ngwenya, who is currently visiting Egypt to attend inauguration of African export-import bank branch. Kabeel highlighted that Egypt exported products worth of $ 1.9 billion to COMESA and imported products worth of $ 693 million.
