Nida' Misr list withdraws from parliamentary elections

Nida' Misr (Egypt's Calling) list announced its withdrawal from the second phase of parliamentary elections scheduled to be held in November, Hisham Anani, parliamentary candidate and secretary of the list revealed Saturday.
Anani claimed that the first phase of elections witnessed "political deception" exercised by a number of individual candidates and electoral list, with the help of some media outlets, stressing that his list will challenge the parliamentary elections.
The High Election Committee (HEC) announced the final results of the first phase of election on Thursday, although there have already been several reported violations.
The first electoral phase includes Giza, Fayoum, Alexandria, Beni Suef, Minya, Assiut, Qena, Beheira, New Valley, the Red Sea, Sohag, Aswan, Luxor, Matruh.
