Giza Criminal Court resumes Saturday the trial of 13 defendants accused of killing assistant head of Giza Security Directorate, Nabil Farag, Al-Bawaba News reported. The retrial comes after the court of cassation had revoked previous rulings of death or life-in-prison sentences. Farag was shot down in Sept. 2013 after militants, allegedly linked to the then ousted Muslim Brotherhood group, had stormed the Kerdassa police station.
