Egyptian security sources said on Saturday a police vehicle was detonated in Arish, North Sinai, leaving a police officer killed and nine conscripts critically injured al-Bawaba News reported. The injured conscripts have been carried to the Arish Military Hospital for treatment, the sources added. Since the ouster of Muslim Brotherhood (MB) in July 2013, a string of deadly blasts have hit the restive Sinai, mostly against police and military personnel, prompting interim authorities in Sept. 2013 to list the MB as a terror group. Al-Bawaba Egypt has not yet received the names of the dead officer or the injured conscripts.
