IED explosion in Haram leaves 4 policemen injured

Egyptian police sources said four police personnel were injured due to an Improvised explosive device (IED) in Haram, Giza, al-Bawaba News reported Friday.
Security forces located the IED at Al Rimaya Square in Haram, Giza, planted by unidentified suspects, the sources said.
The security forces attempted to safely blow up the IED by shooting at it from a distance, but an officer got injured as a result of the detonation.
Police have set a security cordon and searched the surrounding area for any potential threat.
