Columnist Abdel Rehim Ali close to win seat in next parliament

Giza's main election committee affiliated to High Election Committee (HEC) announced that Columnist Abdel Rehim Ali won a seat in the next Parliament according to the preliminary election results for the constituency of Dokki and Agouza, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The committee revealed that Ali is ahead his competitors with 45,490 votes out of 70,000 counted votes.
The other candidates in the same constituency came as follows:
Ahmed Mortada Mansour obtained 24,270 votes
Amr al-Shobky obtained 19,000 votes
Said Goher obtained 10,853 votes
Some media reports said that a run-off elections round to be carried out between the four top candidates on Oct. 26-27 for expats and Oct. 27-28 inside Egypt.
Meanwhile, the "For the Love of Egypt" electoral list obtained the majority of the votes in the Dokki and Agouza with 630470 votes

The final results of the first round of the parliamentary elections will be announced Wednesday or Thursday, spokesperson of the High Elections Committee (HEC) Omar Marwan said in a statement.
