Minister of Justice, Ahmed Al Zend said Tuesday that Egyptian leadership, government and people are keen to support relations with various African countries, Al Bawaba News reported. This came during a meeting with the African Union delegation, headed by Professor of international law, Daniel Makesy. Al Zend pointed out that Egypt, under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi will continue to enhance ties with its neighboring countries, as well as cooperation in various political, social and cultural fields. The minister called for the need to reach joint agreements with African countries in order to enhance the ability of African countries in countering terrorism. For his part, Makesy praised the role of Egypt in combating terrorism in the Middle East and its foreign policy for the time being, as well as its keenness to support the cooperation, consultation and coordination with the rest of the African countries.
