French PM to meet Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in Cairo

Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed al-Tayeb will welcome Sunday, the French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls at Al-Azhar's headquarters in Cairo, Al-Bawaba News reported.
The two sides will discuss the latest developments in the region and the role of Al Azhar on domestic and international levels in combating extremism.
The meeting will also tackle the role that France can play in order to support Islamic causes and conditions of Muslim communities in the European countries.
The French prime minister will hold a press conference at Al-Azhar's headquarters, at the end of his meeting with the Grand Imam in order to reveal the results of the meeting.
