High Elections Committee (HEC) spokesman, Omar Marwan said that the Committee will not extend the period of the Parliament election campaign for the first phase and second phase candidates, Al Bawaba News reported Friday. Marwan added that the HEC has not received any requests from candidates or electoral lists to extend the election campaign period. He stressed that the committee launched a number of training courses for judges to help them learning more about the electoral process procedures, noting that the training will last until the end of next week. Marwan revealed that HEC approved the request of more than 60 foreign embassies in Egypt in order follow-up the upcoming parliamentary pointing out that USA, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan and India embassies as well as the European Union are among the approved organizations to follow up the elections.
